Sky-Watcher Evostar 150 with EQ6-R SynScan GoTo Set

This set combines the Sky-Watcher Evostar 150 achromatic refractor with the equatorial EQ6-R SynScan GoTo mount. The 150 mm refractor has a 1,200 mm focal length and an f/8 focal ratio. Its multi-coated doublet is designed for high-contrast, high-magnification views, particularly of the Moon and planets as well as brighter deep-sky objects.

The tube is equipped with a 9x50 finder, a focuser with 2-inch and 1.25-inch adapters, a 2-inch diagonal, 10 mm and 25 mm eyepieces, and a DSLR camera connection. The EQ6-R provides GoTo control through the SynScan V5 hand controller and automatically tracks objects. Its belt drive reduces backlash and operating noise; other features include PPEC, a SNAP camera shutter port and a payload capacity up to 20 kg for astrophotography.

The mount stands on a sturdy stainless-steel tripod with accessory tray. Two 5 kg counterweights, a polar scope and an autoguiding port are included. The large aperture and robust mount make this a substantial setup for a dedicated observing location. Batteries or a suitable external power supply are required and are not included.
