Sky-Watcher HAC125DX with EQ-AL55i Pro SynScan GoTo Astrograph Set 125 mm f/2

The Sky-Watcher HAC125DX set combines a compact 125 mm f/2 astrograph with the EQ-AL55i Pro SynScan GoTo mount. Its 250 mm focal length and very fast focal ratio are designed for wide-field astrophotography. A motorised mount and stainless-steel tripod are included.

HAC125DX astrograph

The Honders Advanced Catadioptric system offers 125 mm aperture and 250 mm focal length. The 16 mm image circle is intended for compact cameras; keep the combined camera and accessory load to 300 g or less. The tube is about 40 cm long with the dew shield fitted and focuses via a rear helical primary-mirror focuser. f/2 can allow shorter exposures than slower systems; actual results depend on camera, focus, sky conditions and settings.

EQ-AL55i Pro SynScan GoTo

The equatorial mount has Wi-Fi and is controlled with the SynScan Pro app for iOS or Android. An illuminated polar scope helps with alignment. The counterweight bar adjusts for latitudes from 0 to 90 degrees. The mount is rated for a 10 kg payload and provides USB-C, an autoguider port, a DSLR shutter port and a 45 mm dovetail saddle. A stainless-steel tripod with accessory tray is included.
