SkyWatcher Evostar 120EDX: 120 mm ED apochromat for observing and astrophotography
The Evostar 120EDX combines a 120 mm aperture with a 900 mm focal length and an f/7.5 ratio. Its ED doublet uses an element made from Japanese Ohara FPL-53 glass. MHTC multi-coatings support a high-contrast image with reduced colour aberration.
The EDX model features a 2.8-inch drawtube with a scale and rotatable adapter, an 11:1 dual-speed Crayford focuser and a retractable dew shield. Tube rings with a handle that also serves as a mounting bar make the optical tube easier to carry and attach.

The package contains the Evostar-120EDX optical tube, tube rings with handle, a 45 mm dovetail bar and an aluminium carrying case. Eyepieces, diagonal and finder are not included.
An optional 0.85x focal reducer/field flattener, model 20234, is available for astrophotography; it is sold separately.
