Precise motorized focusing for demanding astrophotography
The ZWO EAF-N automates telescope focusing and provides precise, repeatable focus control. Its powerful stepper motor and 1:128 reduction gearing move the focuser smoothly and accurately, making it ideal for long imaging sessions, filter changes and automated astrophotography setups.
A modern USB-C connection handles both power and data through a single cable. The EAF-N works with the ZWO ASIAIR App, ASIStudio and a wide range of ASCOM- and INDI-compatible applications. Depending on the imaging software used, it can perform fully automated autofocus routines.
Despite its compact 215 g metal housing, the EAF-N supports loads of up to 5 kg according to ZWO, making it suitable for demanding camera and accessory configurations.

Important compatibility information
Due to its increased power requirements, ZWO states that the EAF-N is not compatible with the first-generation ASIAIR or the ASIAIR Pro. For Takahashi, Celestron C8 and C11 telescopes, ZWO recommends using a 4 mm flexible coupling because the new EAF generation is not fully compatible with the 5 mm coupling.
