The SkyWatcher Starquest 1145P is a portable 114 mm Newtonian telescope with a parabolic primary mirror and an equatorial Starquest mount. With a 500 mm focal length and f/4.4 focal ratio, it is suited to the Moon, bright planets and brighter nebulae, galaxies and star clusters. The primary and secondary mirrors feature Radiant Aluminum Quartz (RAQ) coatings with up to 94% reflectivity. The fully collimatable primary mirror cell supports precise adjustment.
The Starquest mount can be used in equatorial or alt-azimuth mode. In equatorial mode, flexible slow-motion cables on the right ascension and declination axes help with manual tracking. The mount has a maximum payload of 3 kg and comes with an adjustable aluminium tripod, accessory tray and smartphone holder.
