More detail in large A3 format
The Deluxe edition of the Duplex Moon Atlas presents its lunar charts on generous A3 pages. Two chart sections show the Moon as seen through a telescope with star diagonal or a Newtonian reflector. The digital terrain model provides consistent illumination and clear depiction of surface features.
The atlas contains 38 charts of the near side and eight libration charts showing far-side regions near the limb. It identifies 1,261 named features, about 6,000 secondary craters, known spacecraft impact and landing sites, and the Lunar 100 observing targets. An index makes it easy to look up features.
Waterproof coated pages are optimised for red light, and the wire binding lets the book lie flat beside the telescope. This edition is bilingual in German and English.

Who is it for?
For lunar observers who want to use detailed charts alongside the telescope and prefer extra room for reading and comparison. The A3 edition is larger and heavier than the A4 atlas but provides a much larger chart view.
