The Helios universal digiscoping adapter connects most digital compact cameras to the eyepiece of an astronomical telescope, spotting scope or microscope. Its finely adjustable camera holder helps center the camera lens over the eyepiece for taking photographs or videos through the instrument.
The 1.25-inch holder is designed for eyepieces with an outer diameter of 28 to 45 mm. Before ordering, measure the eyepiece or eyecup and check that the camera lens, eyepiece and holder have enough clearance. Mechanical fit depends on the eyepiece used. One possible observing instrument in our shop is the Celestron Ultima 80 spotting scope; please check the dimensions of the eyepiece you will actually use.
