The Sky Quality Map Germany without cover shows how artificial lighting brightens the night sky and highlights regions where darker observing conditions may be found. Its colours are based on satellite data processed by Fabio Falchi and Riccardo Furgoni, helping stargazers compare locations for observing sessions and astronomy trips.
The topographic base includes towns, waterways, railway lines, motorways and roads. Dark Sky Parks and Reserves, as well as astronomy star-party locations, are also marked. This version is printed double-sided on DIN A1 paper and folded to A5. It is supplied without the protective cover and without the legend.

Choosing this map
Choose this version if you prefer the compact map without its protective cover. It is a long-term planning aid rather than a live sky forecast. Before travelling, also check cloud, haze, moon phase and local light sources.
