The Omegon FogFree USB-C heater band 50 cm helps prevent dew from forming on the intended optical component in damp observing conditions. Gentle heat keeps the surface slightly above ambient temperature and can help extend an observing session.
Wrap the flexible band around the matching optical assembly and secure it with the hook-and-loop fastening. Position it close to the optical surface without obstructing controls or the focuser. Before ordering, compare your tube, finder or eyepiece circumference with the stated band length.
This FogFree USB-C model requires a power source that provides 12 V through USB Power Delivery (PD). A USB-C port without the appropriate PD output may not be sufficient.
The power source and controller are not included. Check voltage, connector and required current when selecting a suitable power source.
