The Lunt Solar Telescope LS130MT Ha B1200 Allround OTA 130/910 is a dedicated H-alpha solar telescope designed to reveal details in the Sun's chromosphere. It can show prominences at the solar limb as well as features such as filaments and active regions across the solar disc.
Its H-alpha system is tuned to the 656.28 nm spectral line. The B1200 blocking filter (12 mm) is matched to this configuration. With an 130 mm aperture and 910 mm focal length (f/7), it offers a useful basis for choosing eyepieces and compatible imaging equipment. The optical design uses an FPL-51 triplet. Please note that models specified as an OTA are supplied without a mount.
Safe solar observing: Use the telescope only when the complete, undamaged H-alpha filter system is correctly assembled, and follow the manufacturer's instructions. Never look at the Sun through the telescope if any part of the solar filter system is missing or damaged.
