Lunt Solar Telescope LS100MT Ha/B1800 PT DS Premium PLUS Kit 100/700

The Lunt Solar Telescope LS100MT Ha/B1800 PT DS Premium PLUS Kit 100/700 is a dedicated H-alpha solar telescope designed to reveal details in the Sun's chromosphere. It can show prominences at the solar limb as well as features such as filaments and active regions across the solar disc.

Its H-alpha system is tuned to the 656.28 nm spectral line, and its Double Stack configuration provides a narrower passband for enhanced contrast on fine solar detail; Pressure Tuning allows the etalon to be finely adjusted to the H-alpha line. The B1800 blocking filter (18 mm) is matched to this configuration. With an 100 mm aperture and 700 mm focal length (f/7), it offers a useful basis for choosing eyepieces and compatible imaging equipment. The optical design uses an OHARA FPL-53 triplet. Please note that models specified as an OTA are supplied without a mount.

Safe solar observing: Use the telescope only when the complete, undamaged H-alpha filter system is correctly assembled, and follow the manufacturer's instructions. Never look at the Sun through the telescope if any part of the solar filter system is missing or damaged.
