Product overview

The TS 11x70 LE is a classic low-light binocular with a large exit pupil. It makes good use of the 70 mm objectives under dark skies and during twilight observing.

Suitable applications

• Astronomy under dark skies
• Nature and wildlife observing at dusk
• Eyeglass wearers thanks to 18 mm eye relief

Included equipment

• 11x magnification
• 70 mm objective diameter
• 6.3 mm exit pupil
• 18 mm eye relief
• Multi-coated optics
• Standard tripod thread
• Weight approx. 1350 g

Large exit pupil

The 6.3 mm exit pupil is most useful under dark skies and with well dark-adapted eyes. Under heavily light-polluted skies, the advantage is smaller.

Practical note

For longer astronomical sessions, we recommend a tripod despite the moderate 11x magnification. It reduces fatigue and steadies the view.
