Sky-Watcher AllView GoTo Mount
The Sky-Watcher AllView GoTo Mount is a computerized alt-az mount for stable visual observation and, where the configuration allows, astrophotography. Its mechanical design, drive system and connection standard are summarized below so that the mount can be matched to the telescope or optical instrument.

Practical setup advice
When choosing a mount, consider focal length, tube length, wind load, camera, guiding equipment and all accessories in addition to the nominal payload. For imaging, staying below the visual maximum generally improves tracking and guiding. A level base and careful balancing also make operation smoother.
