SkyWatcher Esprit-70EDX: compact triplet apochromat
The Esprit-70EDX combines a compact design with a high quality three-element ED optical system. It is suited to astrophotography as well as visual observing. The triplet uses Hoya FCD100 ED glass and MHTC coatings for high contrast and well-controlled colour correction.
The CNC-machined 2.8-inch rack-and-pinion focuser has an 11:1 dual-speed drive and a scale. A rotating adapter on the drawtube helps frame the image. Tube rings with a carrying handle, a dovetail bar and a hard case complete the package.
