SkyWatcher Evostar 80EDX: compact ED apochromat for observing and astrophotography
The Evostar 80EDX is an 80 mm ED doublet refractor with a 600 mm focal length. Its apochromatic objective includes an ED element made from Ohara FPL-53 glass and Sky-Watcher MHTC multi-coatings. The optics are designed for visual observing and astrophotography.
The revised EDX model features a large 2.8-inch focuser with scale and a 360-degree rotation adapter. Its dual-speed Crayford drawtube supports quick coarse focusing and finer adjustment. A retractable dew shield, tube rings with handle and aluminium case make the tube practical to use and transport.

Included
The package contains the Evostar-80EDX optical tube, tube rings with handle, a 45 mm dovetail bar and an aluminium carrying case. Eyepieces, diagonal, finder and mount are not included.
An optional 0.85x reducer/field flattener, model 20236, is available for astrophotography; it is sold separately.
