SkyWatcher Heritage 90 Virtuoso: Maksutov telescope with motorized tabletop mount

The Heritage 90 Virtuoso combines a compact Maksutov-Cassegrain optical tube with a motorized azimuthal tabletop mount. Its 90 mm optics are suited to observing the Moon, planets and double stars. With the included diagonal, the telescope can also be used for high-magnification terrestrial viewing.

The Virtuoso mount tracks an object after it has been aimed manually. It moves on both axes at five selectable speeds. Freedom-Find dual encoders retain position information when the mount is moved by hand.

Camera functions

The mount can control a compatible DSLR camera for panning and panoramic imaging. For exposures at up to six saved positions, the included Canon-D shutter cable triggers the camera. Continuous video and time-lapse sweeps and panoramas up to 360° are also supported.

The mount can be upgraded to GoTo operation with an optional SynScan AZ GoTo kit. This kit is sold separately.

The package includes the 90 mm Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope, Virtuoso tabletop mount, red-dot finder, 10 mm and 25 mm eyepieces, 1.25-inch diagonal, L-bracket and Canon-D shutter cable. Power supply and batteries are not included.
