Michael Feiler and Philipp Noack’s Deep Sky Reiseatlas is designed as a robust companion for observing outdoors. Its 38 charts cover the entire sky at a consistent scale, plotting more than 20,000 stars down to magnitude 7.5 and 666 selected star clusters, nebulae and galaxies. More than 300 objects are also shown on detailed charts. Printed Telrad circles help with locating targets.

Each chart spread is paired with data pages giving brightness, angular size and distance, together with short descriptions. A water-resistant surface and spiral binding suit use at the observing site. The 5th edition updates double-star, variable-star and distance data, and improves colour coding and the overview chart. It is coordinated with the Deep Sky Reiseführer. Please note: this atlas is written in German.
