The Acuter Voyager MAK80 is a compact Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope suited to both beginner astronomy and nature observation. Its 80 mm aperture and 800 mm focal length (f/10) provide balanced views of the Moon, bright planets and distant terrestrial subjects. The closed optical design and portable tube make the set easy to take along.
The set includes 10 mm and 20 mm eyepieces, giving 80x and 40x magnification respectively. A phase-corrected 90-degree erecting roof prism presents an upright image, making the telescope useful for terrestrial viewing as well. The 8x21 finder helps locate targets. The smartphone adapter supports simple photos through the eyepiece; the smartphone itself is not included.
The optical tube uses primary-mirror focusing and comes with a carrying bag. It can be attached to a photo tripod using its 1/4-inch thread or mounted on compatible astronomical mounts using the fitted Vixen/Sky-Watcher-style dovetail bar. A tripod or mount is not included. The telescope accepts additional standard 1.25-inch eyepieces.
Included: Acuter Voyager MAK80 telescope, 10 mm and 20 mm eyepieces, phase-corrected 90-degree erecting roof prism in 1.25 inch, 8x21 finder, smartphone adapter, carrying bag, dust caps and gift box. Smartphone, tripod/mount, batteries and power supply are not included.
