The Omegon Secondary mirror heater band, small helps prevent dew from forming on a Newton telescope secondary mirror during damp observing conditions. Its gentle heat keeps the optical surface slightly above ambient temperature so you can observe for longer.
Wrap the flexible band around the matching optical assembly and secure it with the hook-and-loop fastening. Position it close to the optical surface without obstructing controls or the focuser. Before ordering, compare your tube, finder or eyepiece circumference with the stated band length.
The aRCAdos heater band requires a suitable 12 V DC power supply and connects via RCA. A compatible heater controller allows the output to be adjusted as needed.
The power source and controller are not included. Check voltage, connector and required current when selecting a suitable power source.
