Omegon Horizon N 114/500 EQ Neo Telescope – Newtonian reflector
This Horizon model combines a 114 mm parabolic primary mirror with a 500 mm focal length (f/4,4). The Crayford focuser allows precise adjustment for lunar, planetary and deep-sky observing.
Optics and use
A parabolic mirror gives sharper images than a simple spherical mirror. The Vixen-style dovetail makes the tube compatible with a suitable mount. Observing results depend on sky conditions, eyepieces and experience.
Mount and equipment
The included EQ-1 Neo and steel tripod provide a ready-to-use observing setup. The stated accessories include a red-dot finder, 25 mm and 10 mm Plössl eyepieces, a 2× Barlow, extender, smartphone adapter and Bluetooth shutter.
