Omegon Horizon N 150/750 EQ370DX GoTo Telescope – Newtonian reflector
This Horizon model combines a 150 mm parabolic primary mirror with a 750 mm focal length (f/5). The Crayford focuser allows precise adjustment for lunar, planetary and deep-sky observing.
Optics and use
A parabolic mirror gives sharper images than a simple spherical mirror. The Vixen-style dovetail makes the tube compatible with a suitable mount. Observing results depend on sky conditions, eyepieces and experience.
Mount and equipment
The motorised EQ370DX GoTo provides GoTo pointing and tracking, with WLAN, Bluetooth and a hand controller according to the manufacturer. The stated accessories include a red-dot finder, 25 mm and 10 mm Plössl eyepieces, a 2× Barlow, extender, smartphone adapter and Bluetooth shutter.
