Sky-Watcher Starlux 190MN with EQ6-R SynScan GoTo Set

This set pairs the optically capable Sky-Watcher Starlux 190MN Maksutov-Newtonian telescope with the computerised EQ6-R SynScan GoTo mount. Its 190 mm aperture and 1,000 mm focal length give a focal ratio of f/5.26. The Maksutov-Newton design provides a high-contrast, well-corrected field for demanding visual observing and astrophotography.

The primary mirror is made from thermally stable low-expansion borosilicate glass. Both mirrors carry Sky-Watcher's RAQ coating, specified at up to 94% reflectivity. A 2-inch dual-speed focuser allows precise focusing, while the 9x50 finder helps locate targets. Tube rings and a dovetail rail are provided for mounting.

The EQ6-R SynScan mount has a stated payload capacity of up to 20 kg for astrophotography. Its belt drive runs quietly and supports accurate tracking. Mount features include an adjustable polar altitude range of 5 to 65 degrees, periodic error correction (PPEC), camera shutter control port and a SynScan V6 hand controller with a database of more than 42,000 celestial objects.
