Compact 76 mm Newtonian telescope for beginners
The SkyWatcher Astrolux pairs a 76 mm Newtonian reflector with a 700 mm focal length and an f/9.2 focal ratio. The set is designed for beginners who want to explore the night sky with a traditional reflecting telescope. It is suited to lunar craters, bright planets, stars and selected brighter night-sky objects.
The manual AZ1 mount moves horizontally and vertically, with additional fine adjustment in altitude. This allows the telescope to be aimed and then tracked by hand without electronic controls. The aluminium tripod includes an accessory tray.
The set includes a 6×24 finder, 10 mm and 25 mm eyepieces, and a 2× Barlow lens. The 1.25-inch focuser accepts common accessories in that size. The essential equipment for getting started is included.
