The SkyWatcher Starquest DX127MC pairs a compact 127 mm Maksutov-Cassegrain optical tube with a long focal length and a stable equatorial mount. Its fully multi-coated optics are well suited to high-contrast views of the Moon, bright planets and double stars. The folded optical design keeps the telescope compact and easy to transport.
The StarQuest DX Deluxe mount provides smooth manual tracking in right ascension and declination using flexible slow-motion controls. The set includes a 2.5 kg counterweight, adjustable setting circles and a height-adjustable stainless-steel tripod. A supplied smartphone adapter also supports simple afocal imaging through the eyepiece.
